Have you ever wanted to write a novel, but thought (for whatever reason) you couldn’t do it? Think again! My friends at NaNoWriMo have proven that just about anyone can write a 50,000-word novel in only a month! The challenge is fun and happens all around the world during the month of November. There are write-in events and a forum to help jump-start your brain and many other novelists who will help you when your plot gets too thick to see through, or too thin to find. I have joined this year’s challenge: my fourth time in the ring. No editing allowed. Just writing and writing and writing.
What’s most awesome about this is the support system NaNoWriMo folks have put into place. This year they have virtual write-ins for those who can’t (or deign to) get out to public ones. On Twitter, NaNoWordSprints are going around the clock. Quite honestly, it’s these sprints that have catapulted me forward on the road to success. They have prizes and a store full of amazing products that motivate or reward. The possibilities are as endless as your potential storyline!
It’s not too late to join, so check out their website in the link above!
